Founder, Owner, and Lead Therapist

Women who are drowning in mom rage, overwhelm, postpartum depression, and family conflict have been coming to Erin since 2022 to get life-changing help and real relief.

Social Worker and Therapist, Erin Randol, works with moms, anxiety, family issues, and clinical supervision for social workers.

Hey there! I’m Erin Randol.

I am the owner, founder, and lead therapist for Sunrise Therapy Services located in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

I live on a farm in Southeast Missouri with my super-cool husband, three super-fun kids, and an alarming number of cows.

My speaking style has been described by my clients as “warm, grounded, and real”. I often present as calm but candid, insightful without being preachy. I blend validation with clarity, and I speak directly to moms in a way that feels both therapeutic and empowering.

I’m a big fan of the idea of being a life-long learner. I like a good audio book, podcasts, and interactive training that allow me to geek out harder and harder each day on this therapy stuff. I literally love it all. I am confident that life led me to my perfect career path.

As much as I love a good life plan, I didn’t wake up one day and think, “I’m going to be a therapist.” After college in 2010, I randomly ended up getting a masters in social work and later became clinically licensed. And now I am out here living my best life as a therapist.

When I’m not working or volunteering, I’m hangin’ with my besties (ages 10, 8 and 3). I love giving them new experiences and skills like how to pull the weeds out of the garden and not the whole zucchini plant, or how to cut food without losing a finger, and why a shower before bed IS actually necessary more than twice a week.

If you need help navigating life’s messes, I’ve got the experience, the confidence, and just enough sarcasm to get you through it.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Professional Background

I graduated from Southeast Missouri State University in 2010, then earned my Master’s in Social Work from St. Louis University in 2013. After that, I spent several years in social work case management, working with individuals with developmental disabilities from 2013 to 2020.

In 2016, I passed my clinical licensure exam, and when the pandemic hit, I transitioned to providing contracted telehealth services from home. In June 2022, I opened my private practice and have been working full-time with clients ever since.

My training includes 50+ hours of virtual EMDR training in 2021, with ongoing advanced training since then. Starting in 2022, I began extensive training in Internal Family Systems (IFS), which has become my primary modality that I love learning about through ongoing trainings.

Therapy for Moms in Missouri Who Want to Feel More Calm and Less Ragey

A lot of moms who end up here are doing everything they’re supposed to be doing.

They love their kids. They take care of what needs to get done. They keep things running.

But it still feels harder than it should.

They feel overwhelmed more easily. They snap faster than they want to. They deal with mom rage, guilt, and frustration and then wonder why it keeps happening.

Some are dealing with postpartum depression or anxiety. Others just know something feels off in how they’re reacting.

Clients who work with Erin once asked themselves:

  • Why do I get so triggered?

  • Why can’t I stay calm like I want to?

  • Is this just how motherhood feels now?

Erin’s clients just want to feel more steady, more patient, and more like themselves again.
